Treinabhal is the original crofthouse and has been in the family since it was built c. 1940. It sleeps 4 people, is well equiped and offers great views over the township of Milton and our small fishing loch.

Here at Uist Accommodation, we offer some of the best holiday accommodation in the Western Isles. Our self-catering cottages and bed and breakfast accommodation provide convenient and comfortable bases for exploring the Outer Hebrides. We are located in the heart of South Uist where the beautifully austere landscape, characterized by wind-swept beaches, rolling hills and numerous lochs evokes a sense of timelessness and rugged beauty. Here, a lively Gaelic culture that has developed over the course of some 5000 years continues unabated. Visitors will find that the Gaelic language, music, and many other traditional aspects of daily life that have been lost in most of the rest of Scotland are still integral to the people of South Uist.

Uist is a perfect holiday destination. Activities range from hill walking to kayaking, from bird watching to fly fishing, and from site seeing to simply unwinding and taking in the breathtaking scenery and culture.

Our self-catering and B&B accommodation is situated at the heart of south Uist in a croft in the small township of Milton (see photo above). It is a quiet and peaceful place situated centrally, providing easy access to the beach and hills as well as many historical sites. Milton is also only 3 miles from the village of Daliburgh where you will find a shop, petrol station, pub and churches.
